Daniel’s MTB Landshark

Build Notes

Sure, we all love a nice understated build...but this has got to be one of our favorite OVERstated builds of all time.
This is the horseshoe theory of bikes. So loud that it’s subtle. So wild that it’s tame. So hot that it’s ice cold. Daniel brought us this Land Shark Dirt Shark 26er frame with a stack of absolutely insane parts and asked us to bring his wild vision to life in a deliciously distasteful way. Long list of goodies here: custom tie-dye ano Paul Motolite Brakes, vintage XTR M950 group operated by super-clean Shimano Dura Ace britfters (made possible by slick little JTEK adapters), Magic Components « 90s ATB fork », Velo Orange cigne stem and dajia far bars, Thomson post in glacier blue, vintage early Chris King turquoise “unmarked cup” headset, Forager cable cherries, Blue Lug « stussy » guruguru bar tape and tie dye reflector, Dark Realm tie dye frame bag, Simworks cable housing. If your head isn’t done spinning yet, it’s finished with a custom wheelset by Simon featuring vintage NOS hard grey ano Mavic SUPs laced to Chris King and Son dynamo hubs with a rainbow of nipples, shod with Ultradynamico Mars tires. Woof that was a long list!!
