Tebow’s Surly Midnight Special

Some of you probably will recognise this frame from a previous shop build for Greg now he is off randonneuring on a new ride we also posted! This Surly Midnight Special is our #1 french man Tebow whip for the basket bike and commute rides. The frame already had the cool Nitto rack on it, so it just needed to put a big basket on the front. For the cockpit we got a bullmoose bar from our Blue Lug friends. The Oury to match the IRD brakes lever. Tebow wanted to be able to get everywhere so we dove into the shop’s secret parts bin and put together a 1x11 transmission with one of the worlds prettiest cranksets: a silver Dura Ace 7800 crank and a single Garbaruk chain ring. Cherry on cake, yes yes that’s how you say in french, he put a Brooks C17 special to keep his butt comfy!
