Build Notes

Mike's @esker build started all the way back in January, when he lost his bikes in the Eaton Fire. Replacing personal belongings is never easy, but thankfully Esker agreed to show Mike some love and help us with his bike replacement, especially since he enjoys volunteering with @lowelifes! 🪏⛰️❤️

Mike wanted something to haul tools and gear for gettin' down and dirty on trail maintenance days, and the Hayduke was a great fit. We outfitted it with @oldmanmountain racks that Mike got custom powdercoated in a safety orange 🦺 (peep his matching bottle cages, too!), an orange @fox fork, @chriskingbuzz pewter bb and silver seat collar, @paulcomp boxcar stem that Mike did some custom finishwork on, @simworksusa cable housing, our favorite pedals from @yoshimura, and the "magic stem cap" from @familybike featuring yantras hand written by a monk then cnc-engraved onto the cap!! The final cherry on top was Mike's matching Electra bell 😹 eagle-eyed observers may note the bike has already got some dirt on it...Mike had already been riding it a bunch before we managed to snag some photos. We're just glad he's enjoying it! Thank you Mike, @esker, and huge thanks to the crew @lowelifes that are keeping our local trails working so we can all enjoy some fresh air! #itsnotabikeshop
