Build Notes

A word of advice to bike shop owners all over: when your customer is named Patience, make sure to get that build done QUICK 😳 We didn't want to know what it was like to see Patience become impatient, so we turned this one around in a WEEK!

All jokes aside, Patience came to us on a road bike she'd been riding since 2012 (!!! how's that for patient) and told us it was time for an upgrade. She asked us to give her all the "bells and whistles" 😹 hydraulic disc brakes, tubeless tires, and wireless shifting!! We measured her old bike and matched her up with the @ritchey Montebello, fits her perfectly! Kept it simple with a SRAM AXS build complemented by Ritchey stem, seatpost, wheels, and @somafab bars to get the ride just right. The one niche piece we added are the @magiccomponents Long Neck spacers 🆙 to dial in the fit!

Patience has been riding for decades, and after a spin around the block on the Montebello, she told us she was overjoyed to have better climbing gears, easier shifting, a smoother ride on much bigger tires (went from riding on 25s to 34s!!) and the ability to brake from the hoods again 🙏 Good things come to those who wait 😉 #itsnotabikeshop
